A chemical service should be conducted every 6-12 months, depending on the usage of the unit. If you use your aircon for around 2 hours a day, you should service it every year. However, if you use it for 6 hours a day or more, servicing should be done every 6 months or even earlier.

A basic service should be done every 2-3 months if a chemical service is not performed. However, basic servicing is often not economically efficient or thorough enough and may not address all issues causing your aircon to malfunction. We highly recommend a chemical service for both indoor and outdoor units, as it effectively removes impurities and bacteria and ensures proper cleaning of the filters.

Commercial premises running aircon units throughout the day should service them every 3 months or more frequently.

• Wall Mounted Aircon Units:
  • Chemical Service: Approximately 45 minutes for the first unit and an additional 30 minutes per extra unit. For example, servicing 5 units would take approximately 2 hours 45 minutes.
  • Basic Service: Approximately 15 minutes for the first unit and an additional 15 minutes per extra unit. For example, servicing 5 units would take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
• Overhaul Service: Approximately 2 hours per unit and an additional 1 hour 30 minutes per extra unit.
• Cassette Mounted Aircon Units: These units take approximately twice as long to service compared to wall-mounted units.

Aircon Home Service provides water leak repair services. Usually, water leakage is caused by a blocked drain pipe. This issue can often be resolved with our chemical service package. If any parts are damaged and require replacement, we will provide a quote for the repair work.

Our technicians will diagnose the issue with your aircon and provide a detailed assessment. If repairs or parts replacements are needed, we will quote you the price. Upon your confirmation, we will proceed with the repair work.

Check the label on your outdoor unit (compressor). The label includes the aircon model number and other details. You can find the type of refrigerant (e.g., R32 or R410A) listed there.
